foosh Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 started out as a road tractor, then converted to a day cab and finally converted to a triaxle dump.
hotrod59f100 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Wow I love it. That looks terrific How much should I expect to dish out for one of these ? I want one bad.
foosh Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Don't know, got mine many years ago. I would try fredsmodelworldonline.com or jimnohio, they may have one. I don't buy from ebay but you could try there. With all the people on this site someone should be able to help you. Good hunting.
freightshaker Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I built this one years ago. Not a bad kit from what I remember.
hotrod59f100 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Wow looks good are these similer to the Chevy bison?

Russell C Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Wow looks good are these similer to the Chevy bison? I combined the two Monogram 32nd scale Bison / General kits onto one model way back in 1981, thread over here, where sometime later I'll have a chance to clean and fix it up a bit.
kilrathy10 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I've only built two of these, lifetime, and both are long gone....This particular one was destroyed by my daughter's mother.....I've recently acquired a dumper, but I haven't been able to locate another Bison.....Anyway, here it is.....These pics were also taken with some really nice looking self adhesive "road bed" I found at Home Depot....
hotrod59f100 Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Jt looks great. Sorry to hear that it was destroyed.
foosh Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Check out Freds in Buffalo, just posted late last night, may have what you want. fredsmodelworldonline
kilrathy10 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Hey, I like that, Man.....That's cool.....Really cool....
checkmate Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Always liked the looks of these trucks, I started one as a kid but never got it finished.Over the years I've managed to collect an original issue of both the GMC and Chev, just need to get around to building them. I was thinking of adding a Peerless log trailer to the back of one.

hotrod59f100 Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Yeah I just got into rigs in the last few yrs and I'm just finding out what's out there . I bought a hot wheels GMC general at a sale and liked the way it looks that's when I first found out about the kit by looking it up on eBay
BigBad Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) What was nice about the GMC General and Chevy Bison kits was the fact that else from the tires and rims, it was all original material, not found on any other previous kit from AMT. The original issue of both got out in 1977. About time to get a new one out, ain't it? Edited April 25, 2014 by BigBad
