Yes I certainly hope it does, there are a lot of box-art images that mis-lead the buyer. When you start to build you quickly realise that the stance is too high!

the front wheels on the box art sure seem to sit up into the front fenders a lot more than that martinfan build does, also looks like they sit inboard more too. still sitting very low, seeing that photo of a true out of box build would make me want to mod the front though to more closely match the stance on the box. looks like it comes from cambering the wheels especially in the front.

The suspension can be set to be cambered like on the box art as well. It's adjustable in height and camber actually since there's one tooling for all the 86/BRZ kits with kit variable specific parts. Edited by niteowl7710

now that's a nice set of features: adjustable height and camber.

I actually have this model but have not studied it yet, have got too much in the build queue.

Couple of things, I used a different set of tires , the tires I used are wider and not cambered like the kit tires are, so that is one reason why there is not a lot of tuck on mine, I used all of the Rocket Bunny parts for the suspension. The polycaps that come with the Rocket Bunny kits are different then your normal polycaps, they are bigger and longer, but the fit is not sung, so there is some play, which will allow the tires to sit not 100% like they should. The way to fix this is to glue the polycap into the wheel, that will get rid of most of the play, but not all of it.

I was building mine to represent the real 1:1 version of the guy behind the Rocket Bunny , which is this one, and as you can see, the tuck is not like the box art either. After looking at it again, I was not close on the paint either, I needed to use a darker red.

I never really use those polycaps, I find they fit too loose for me and like you say cause the stance to be kind of funny when you set it down. I like the wheels to be solid and posed in position. instead of polycaps, I just fill the cavity with epoxy and pose the car on its wheels and then go away for a while to let them dry. that usually lowers the car a bit, 1/32 or 1/16", all by itself.

thanks again jonathan

That's a good idea jbwelda! I have a tube of bath seal that comes out soft and then hardens over an hour or so.

That's just right to try as you suggested, after putting a very thin piece of plasticard under the front, just enough to keep it off the ground!
