hotrod59f100 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Seen this on Monday . I thought it would make a cool model .
mikemodeler Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) If Chuck Most sees that is for sale he might have a new lawn ornament! I agree that would make for a nice model! Edited April 9, 2014 by mikemodeler
hotrod59f100 Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 I've heard 2 different prices . I posted it on a fb group and 1 guy said he wanted 5,000 on eBay with no bids . another said he worked for the guy and he wants 6,500. They have screaming Detroit's in them I belive
cappy625 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 that's worth the 5,000 if I had a place to keep it I'd buy it.
Chuck Most Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 If Chuck Most sees that is for sale he might have a new lawn ornament! I agree that would make for a nice model! A bit too far for me to drive, and I don't have another big wrecker to tow it home with.
Jim B Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 So, is it in Unadilla or Otego? Both towns are on the doors.
hotrod59f100 Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 Its actually in Worcester,N.Y. on rt 7
hotrod59f100 Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 A bit too far for me to drive, and I don't have another big wrecker to tow it home with. come on chuck just fly out slap some plates on her and drive her home you know you want it lol
txdieseldog Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I would like it! But, same as Chuck, a bit far coming from TX. If I ever win the lottery, you guys will see some restored pics!
charlie8575 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 That's cool. I do like the Cracker-Boxes. Wish I had a little more money, someplace to put it, and a CDL. Charlie Larkin
BigBad Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 That would look cool all restored at truck shows. It would also be a nice model project. But 1:25 Crackerbox cabs are few and far between! For the engine, I guess there is a 6-71 under that cab but an 8V71 wasn't uncommon for these. It's definitely doable.
