From Dad: would've looked better with a DeSoto front end.

I know this because just today I was flipping through my April issue of Hemmings Classic Car and read the article called "De Soto or DeSoto? 13 most-common mistakes people make about De Sotos."

De Soto: v. 1) to undo your Soto, 2) to remove Soto from, 3) to render your Soto neutral.

But that's assuming that you have a Soto... ^_^

I once had a Soto... I knew Manny Soto. Haven't called him in years, actually lost track of him so I guess I have De Soto-ed.

Paint it black or white and use it in a new Mystery Men movie.

Seriously, with a different paint job, it might move into the realm of acceptability.

It's uglier than sin ,,,but In a sick morbid kind of way I like it.

Paint it a different color ( or just lose the flames ) and I would drive the snot out of it

I recall when i was a teenager, my sister would often go to my mother while getting dressed up for some dance or date and ask, "How do I look?" My mother's response was always the same, "Oh, you'll pass in a crowd with a push." I hadn't thought of that exchange in years, however, after seeing the subject of this post, it all came rushing back to me. Like others here, I agree that the craftsmanship is definitely first rate, but just because you can doesn't mean you should...
