smellyfatdude Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) A six day build, from opening the box to attaching the back licence plate. I used the Buick mill, with the tri-power and the chrome headers. The paint is Testors One Coat Icy Blue and Krylon flat black, cleared with Tamiya TS-13. The body is totally stock, except for the kit mags. Edited April 16, 2014 by smellyfatdude

southpier Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 came out nice. can't understand why two - tones faded from popularity.
ChrisR Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Looks great and nice to see a hood that fits properly.
smellyfatdude Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Thanks all! Here's a few outdoor pics. Pardon the, umm . . . . . snow.
Prince Ital Mike Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 The outdoor pictures are much better... very nice model!!!
bogger44 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Sharp build Smelly. This brings back some memories for me, as when I was a kid I built this kit in the same colors (Testors Sapphire Blue, very similar), even sporting the Keystones as well. Your's is much better than what mine was though lol.
Duntov Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I like this one a lot--- you did some really nice work here and captured the feel of a classic street rod --- One of my all time favorite kits I might add---glad to see you did well with it!!! Regards Bill (Duntov)
