This was my third completion in the GB. I created a conversion from Panzer III F to Panzerbefehlswagen III E. I scratchbuilt the frame antenna, machine gun mount and moved the turret 1 scale foot forward.

Here are some pre paint mockup shots.

Are the figures included in the kit? They're pretty cool. And the dust on their boots is a very slick little touch. You are a master of weathering these vehicles (and their crew).

A few more.

The map held by Herr Feldmarschall is a photo reduction of Libya in the area of Mersa Matruh, ca 1941. It fits the time frame of the build.

Snuck in on me there. No sir the figures are a set from Master Box based on a real photo of Rommell and his staff sitting atop a tank. I researched Herr Feldmarschall's uniform tunics and painted him accordingly.

I'm not at all into military stuff but this is really amazing work. The before and after shots really illustrate the skill required.

Thank you gentlemen, you too Danno.

;)

I'm finally getting around to building all the subjects I've wanted to build for years now.

Very nice work Wayne. Love the weathering. I have always wanted to do some armor builds for something a little different for myself. Great work on this one.

Ira, Eric and Carl, again gentlemen I than you.

Just now caught that didja Danno?

John coming from you I blush.

Yes I am a military builder, some would say mostly military, but you have seen my autos. Check out the "All the Rest Group Build", we have some outstanding talent here on this board in military as well as other areas.
