I can't believe how quickly I finished this one! This is an awesome kit with tons of detail. I made a few modifications to make it more my liking however. I shaved 2' off of the length (well, 2 scale feet) and scratch-built the rear doors and tail lights. I moved the glad-hands/electric plug to the center of the trailer, I scratch-built a Carrier reefer unit, and I added 5-hole steel wheels.

Great looking trailer, KJ. What are you going to hook it to?

Thanks! I think my next project will be a Peterbilt 379. I'm not sure if this will sit behind it or if I will make a different trailer for it.

Great work on this trailer.....I agree about how nice a kit this is.....Nice work on cutting down on the length.....Very nice.....But the best thing is that rear door setup.....Just beautiful....I'm pretty sure I'll be doing one up like this one....You've inspired me, Man......Great job....

Wow that is nice. I have to agree with the others for that looking real ! The Steel wheel Five holes really make this one stand out. I wish kit manufactures would get on the ball and offer those in kits.
