cartpix Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Great job. Very realistic. It makes me want to go out, buy that kit & build it factory stock. What am I saying? I can't build anything stock.
peekay Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 One of my favourite buid-ups of this kit so far (and there have been some beauties). Love the understated period colour choices and the blackwalls. Very fine job on a great kit.
bbowser Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 Thanks so much for all the kind comments! I think the wide whitewalls get overdone on a lot of these cars, most folks had blackwalls back in the day as I remember it. It really is a nice kit, the engine alone is worthy of display.
Dominik Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 well done Bruce, like the color and the "missing" white walls. nice!
f1ford48 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 beautiful stock build-thanks for not putting on white walls!
charlie8575 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Nice build, Bruce. I agree and disagree about WWWs vs. BWs, yeah, they get a little over-done, but they do look good when used right. That said, the basic character of that car fits blackwall tires quite well. Charlie Larkin
Project510 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 very nice! I have this kit and plan to start it after my two current builds.
MajorFubar Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Hi Bruce, My first post, love the color combo as well. Would you mind telling the color name and brand please? Tom
mangodart Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Real nice, looks like the real thing, and a bit like a police car without it's stickers
smellyfatdude Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I love the slightly plain look that those blackwalls afford. All in all, you did a terrific job on this!
