Jantrix
Here's the nose art image. I was able to make some decent decals. I'll let it dry overnight, spray some flat clear and see how it looks. Please don't drool on your keyboard. DynoMight
That should turn out amazing, that decal should just set it off
Lunajammer
Cool graphics. I think the bomber style steering wheel is inspired. Since the wheels look so bladed, have you considered a some kind of careful center hub treatment? ( Dome? Lighter silver, Insignia blue e.g?) Jantrix
Thanks guys. Mike, I'm gonna leave the wheels as-is. It took a while to find wheels and tires I liked for this build due to the fact that it's 1/24, so I'm gonna play it safe. I should have a sneak peek of the nose art today. EDIT. Okay unless I find some others soon, likely no nose art. Here's the ones I printed myself on clear film. Not very nice looking. The color isn't dense enough. Not to mention the decal setting solution penetrated the flat clear and destroyed the decals and the flat clear on the body. Very weird. I've never had that happen. Danno
It's difficult to apply decals to any flat or matte finish. Haven't experienced setting solution attacking paint before. Still an excellent build despite the finish issues. Edited June 7, 2014 by Danno
