It is a great feeling sitting there working on your hobby with your kids doing the same thing. But as they get older they start to show you up though. :)

I built models with all three of my children, and now build with my two grandkids, Lord willing I'll someday build with my great-grandkids. Have fun!

My son has had models in the SA contest annual, I haven't.

Thanks guys. And if she sticks with building them then that just means I have to step up my work. Lol. But my main thing I want her to learn is no matter what just have fun with it. Its only plastic.

I remember doing that with my daughter in her younger days. Enjoy it while you can because it doesn't last all that long unfortunatly. The good news is that you can move on and enjoy other things and hobbies. Have fun !

Go for it. There's nothing better than time spent with your daughter. She will remember the experience and the attention you gave her for the rest of her life. I built with both of my daughters, who loved the craft process of painting and assembling. I suspect that having dad's full attention was more important.

And a word of advise... do it now. They grow up way too fast. The little girl in this photo is now 30. Seems like yesterday...
