Dragfreak
Just started to play around with this, it'll be mostly box stock with some wheels, tires and a cage maybe I'll throw a small block chevy in it to make the purists mad. Comments, advice, and criticism is all welcome Edited August 2, 2014 by Dragfreak
slusher
Nice wheels and tires. I like the stance. I would go with Ford motor but your build...

Dragfreak
Fish mouthed all the bars for better fit at the joints, the cage should be finished sometime tonight or early tomorrow. Edited May 19, 2014 by Dragfreak
Dragfreak
Just finished up the cage, it's a simple 10 point with some extra bars, might go further. Note: yes I know it doesn't have door bars, I need to figure out what I'll be doing for seats first.

am73grand
This is really cool! Where did you source the wheels/tires from?
Dragfreak
Thank you, Ron, the wheels are from the rat roaster, the slicks are race masters from the amt parts pack, and the fronts are firestones from the amt '66 nova.

Dragfreak
Looks good definitely need to lower it tuck some of the rear tire for sure Thank you, Id like to sit it down more but I'd have to completely tub the car which if I was going to go through the trouble of back halving the car id put a much larger tire under it, I kind of want to keep the outlaw 8.5 look that it has because I think the small tire looks good. Dragfreak
I'm pretty happy with the fit of the cage in the body, all you can really see from the side is the main hoop.
Outlaw_Pitbull_0411
It looks good the way you have it im not trying to be rude, i personally like stuff completely smooth and lowered can't wait to see it finished..... I would like to have it sit lower as well but ground clearance for the exhaust and oil pan is an obstacle. I'll head over to the diecast section and check your camaro out. Dragfreak
Just more cage work, no big deal, it's nothing like the cages Tyrone builds but I think it looks okay.
Robberbaron
I think you have the stance/wheels/tires nailed down perfectly, wouldn't mess with it at all. Impressed with the cage you put together, too.
