Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Got this finished up a few minutes ago... Weathered up and sporting Z man wheels... Built as a daily driven beach cruiser... No door handles, couldn't find them...
Harry P. Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 You can make some door handles out of bits of silver wire.
peter31a Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Wow! The salt air sure has been working on that one! Great weathering!
slusher Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Super cool beach cruiser James. Nice weathering and stance.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Thanks fellas... Harry, I should have thought of that to begin with... Time to grab some wire and start making them...
rmvw guy Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Nice job! I like the color choices on the surf boards, makes the whole model pop. Are those the kit wheels? They look extra deep, I would love to have a few sets of those.
crazyrichard Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 really cool , !! patina looks great nice and crisp
am73grand Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 That came out amazing. The rusty paint is spot on!!!
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Thanks guys... Ron, the wheels are from Steve Zimmerman aka Z Man... I was gonna do matching boards but I figured two different colors would be a lot better...
rmvw guy Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Thanks guys... Ron, the wheels are from Steve Zimmerman aka Z Man... I was gonna do matching boards but I figured two different colors would be a lot better... Thanks James, I will have to look into ordering some.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 HThanks James, I will have to look into ordering some. He is also on FB , I believe they are going for $20 a set...
cartpix Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Great weathering. I like the way the paint is lifting, on the front. I always shake my head, when someone puts surfboards, on the rook of Woodies. They look SO much better, sticking out the back, like yours.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Thanks... I wanted to just angle them in the back, but they stuck out way too far... So I figure I'd lay them in just like that...
Teddy J. Tannehill Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Looks like an "Endless Summer Woody"....This one has been chasin' waves...."Tubular Dreams"
