curt raitz Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Just picked up this model 2 weeks ago I thought it to be a good partner with "The Malco Gasser" to take to the "Crusin Nationals" Car and Model Contest in Santa Maria, CA this weekend. It was gonna be a challenge to get it done in time, finished it last night. I initially painted it MCW Lt. Blue Met #2631, but the '62 Vette just did not look right in that color, so I found an old rattle can of Kustom Kolor Candy Apple Red in the paint cabinet. I then shot the Candy Apple Red over the Lt. Blue Met, put the flame decals from the kit on the car and covered with MM UltraGloss Clearcoat. Came out like this: thanx for lookin'...
hemi Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 One awesome looking build, did those flames come from the kit or are they from another kit.

Thanx The flames came with the kit I was surprised on how they "laid-down" and were very receptive to microscale's decal setting solution Revell definitrey has improved their decals Edited May 24, 2014 by curt raitz
