This one took a weird journey to it's completion today. The chassis was completed about five years ago, but the body had all sorts of problems all related to the paint and clear coat. A special thanks to my bud, Tom Neu for donating another Grand Am body for the cause. Hope you like. Questions and comments are always welcome.

Aaron, you always do great work and this one is no exception!! Curious as to how it went together and what after market parts you used. I have this in my stash along with the Slixx decals for the black bodied version. Once again great job on this, you got to love the Grand Am, it's so ugly it's cool!!

Thanks Jim! Wow, it's been so long, that I can't remember building the chassis. I know I used Detail Master A/N fittings and braided line. I do see some MCG photoetch stuff there too. I scratch-built the fuel tank, and used the tried-and-true body lowering technique that 1320 wayne shared with all of us. Besides those things, it was a fairly straight forward build.

Aaron.... This turned out Beautiful. Very nice work. I know what it feels like to finish something after most of it has been done for years, its an accomplishment for sure. Great Job!!

Thank you Wayne. Always a tip of the cap to you for showing the rest of us how to lower these kits and make them look more realistic.

Thank you too Shaun.

Really nice Grand Am Funny Car. The paint job turned out great after all and the detailing all over is incredible. The engine looks like it could be fired up any moment! Nice work on a rarely seen subject.
