Porscheman Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) Earl's one of my rich friends. I finish it last night and will give it to Earl today when he comes over tonight for a picnic in this car. Started with the Tamiya Ferrari kit, applied 4 coats of Tamiya gloss black out of a rattle can. No clear used on this one. The interior is done Tamiya's flat wood and semi gloss black. Here's one of my rarer things, an engine I'm a restorer of old curbsides, which usually don't have engines. Thank you for looking, let me know what you thing and Harry, it does have mirrors. cobraman Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Hey Al, the car looks great and I am sure your buddy will love it.
Porscheman Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Thanks guys. Not only is Earl the owner of 3 Ferrari's, but he is also a big model car collector. Al
ZTony8 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 If you're gonna do a black car you can't beat Tamiya TS-14 gloss black. That stuff goes on soooooooo nicely and requires little,if any, polishing.
Porscheman Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 (edited) I think it's great... But it's a 360... Not a 380 Typo I can build model cars, but I can't type for *#@^. I wish I got pictures of his car last night, but it was to dark. We did take a drive up 287 N. in NJ for a late cruise. Got to get me one of these. Al Edited May 27, 2014 by Porscheman
