DynoMight Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Hello, my name is Glenn Might. I am 14, about to turn 15 in August. I have been building models ever since I was 4 or 5. I mostly enjoy building classic cars and some newer cars. Currently I am working on a Pro-Street/Drag 1955 Nomad. I'm not the best builder, like some of you (I've spent almost 2 hours gawking at all the amazing models on here haha) but I enjoy making models and that's what it's all about, right? I'll enjoy getting to know you guys and hope I can make some friends here. -Glenn Aka DynoMight
Belugawrx Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Welcome Glenn Have fun and ask questions! Happy modelling
Foxer Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Wlcome here Glen ... you have the right attitude as far as I'm concerned ... building is all about doing what you like.
StevenGuthmiller Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Welcome Glenn! I can almost remember when I was 14......Almost! That's about the same age I was when I started building some 37 years ago. It makes me so happy to see young guys like you starting out in a hobby that I had pretty much given up for dead. At least for the younger generation. I wish you many years of fun in this great pastime. Now, young man, GET CRACKIN' !!! Steve
DynoMight Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Thanks Bruce, I'll be sure to! Thanks Mike, I hope I do have the right attitude haha! Steven, your welcome for me, ah giving you hope haha. I already have had many years of fun and I hope for more too. Tonight I'm probably going to post my progress so far on my Nomad. Thanks! -Glenn Edited June 4, 2014 by DynoMight

W-409 Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Welcome! It's nice to see other young people who are interested in Classic Cars. I'm quite sure you will learn a lot from this forum. At least I've learned a huge amount of information while posting my WIP threads or just looking at other posts. This is a great place for sure. I'll look forward to see your work.

Petetrucker07 Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Welcome glen, in time the knowledge will come. Soon youll be the all out builds you see here, just keep at it, try new things, dont be afraid to "lets see if this works" or "ill try it like this". Itd your imagination, let it free.
LunaticRick Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Hello Glenn, welcome to MCM forum! You already have a great attitude.............build+learn=FUN
mikemodeler Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Welcome Glenn, nice to see some new, younger members here. I like your approach and hopefully this will be a place where you learn much! Don't be afraid to post or ask questions, we all are here to share and grow this hobby. You are at that age where girls start to become a distraction, don't let that happen to you! Models are cheaper than a girlfriend and are usually easier to deal with!
