cobraman Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Too darn hot out to go out and enjoy retirement. My garage is like a heat booth so my paint dries quick at least and then run back in the house. : )
Joe Handley Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) We're not there yet, plenty of rain once again, kinda crappy and cool out now too. Come August, we just might be posting here instead. Edited June 4, 2014 by Joe Handley
High octane Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Ray, while it's not a "hot box" here we still have high humidity so I do my paint spraying indoors where it's air conditioned. My better half is not thrilled about the little bit of paint smell, but it is my house too, and with the bath exhaust fan and a ceiling fan the air clears up rather quickly.
martinfan5 Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I paint at night when its a little bit cooler in the paint room AKA garage , its safe to say summer is here in the valley-o-the sun
Joe Handley Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Well, at least the lack of humidity has to come in handy for painting!
martinfan5 Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Nah, just model building season. -MJS And that season is pretty much all year long
Agent G Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 It has now gotten to that point where I spray paint early in the morning or late in the evening. 102 here yesterday. I like to paint in the morning then let the part sit. Can you say "Baked enamel finish" ? G
Danno Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Sunny and 83 here today, too. (If you don't count the last twenty degrees.)
