Nice replica of cool custom car. I saw the actual car at a Goodguys show in Pleasanton, CA a few years back. What an amazing car. The paint job came alive in the bright California sun. It was painted locally in San Jose, CA by Gambinos Customs.

What I don't understand is that shortly after the real car was completed, the owner only kept it a little while before selling it!

It is covered in lace pattern, which I was unsure how to replicate...

I've just been hunting about on google for inspiration for my next build and saw the car which probably gave you this idea.

I was going to try it myself...but now I'll have to re-think my plans, or risk plagiarism!

I also did my first panel-job recently and I needed a few weeks' rest after that, so I get where you're coming from..!

Yea, the 1:1 is a nice car! He (Kirk Jones) chronicled the build on the HAMB, you may find more reference pics there!

Tim, do you have any front view photos? What was the problem with the fit of the front bumper?
