Interesting...so GMP is merging w/ Greenlight or vice versa? I have some GMP racing cars, they are very nice...and Greenlight 1/64th diecast are excellent--got a ton of those.

Cant wait to see whats in store!! I sure hope wheel/tire sets and accessory packs will be available separately to purchase. Drag Packs or Road Race packs with assorted parts would be killer.

Maybe just maybe this will give Hwy61 the kick in the pants they need to get back to 1/18 diecast!!

Wow, Mike!! That . . . looks . . . familiar!!!!

And, they got the roof right. You won't have to get a MasterCaster body for it! :P

Well, it may not be a notch, but I think I have to have one anyway. (big surprise) They have also said that they would release a 1991 FBI pursuit Mustang. We'll have to see what that one looks like.

They (GMP) did the notch (coupe) a few years ago in 1/18 scale that looks good.

The Fairlane looks sweet.

Didn't they start out as Peach State Die-cast...or something like that. I have a 1/18th '87 Buick Grand National by them. It's relatively simple, but a nice model. Then they changed to GMP(Georgia Marketing). I have about 15 GTO's. Much better models. And now, they're ACME and still making die-casts...Chevelle's, GTO's, Olds Cutlass, and others. Same quality as when GMP, but a slight price jump which didn't seem to back off any buyers as some of the offerings of late are sold out.

GMP had major money problems, lost their offices in Georgia, and had the Chinese repossess their tooling. Not a happy thing, especially since they were coming out with one great model after another, so we all thought that they were doing well. They went out of business several years ago, and the tooling remained in limbo until Greenlight bought the rights to the name, and apparently, an unknown quantity of the tooling as well. So we will be seeing modified reissues in new colors etc, but it will be interesting to see if/what new cars are introduced.

Came yesterday from Greenlight/GMP. Very nice. They eliminated the retracting seat belt feature, and the 1/4 windows have the black painted on the outside instead of the inside, but all other GMP features are there.

I love Fox body Mustangs.Recently I found a very rare,(at least according to the guy I bought it from,)1/18th scale NYS trooper Mustang.Plus I only saw another one for sale on eBay.Great car, very detailed,to say the least. The same guy I bought the trooper car from, informed me a couple of weeks ago, that the FBI car is coming out, sometime this month..Looks like another cool car.So now I've got the NYS car,I'm just gonna wait for the FBI car to come out,and complete my collection.
