attachicon.gif03-1970-boss-302-trans-am-mecum.jpgCompare to pics of the race cars. The reflector lights were filled in.

That and the fenders were flared slightly. The battery is in the passenger side footwell. The cage needs side bars, diagonals, and two bars going to the trunk and two angling down to the leading leaf spring mounts. There at least a hundred other details that make it a Trans-Am car versus a stock mustang with Mini-lites and a paint job. .

Martin, The car is "on the workbench, so I've a fewthings to do b4 I call it done, I am aware of the needs for the rollcage Maybe you know if there were any bracing added to the chassis in the rear of the car or the size of the sway bar , or "panhard" or "track"bar"? BTW the battery was located in th trunk, passenger side. Shaun.s

This is one of my favorite T/A's. Great to see someone building it. I've been wanting to do this or another version for years. I also have a 67 or 68 Camaro in mind. I'll be watching.

Reviving this old thread to get me motivated to finish this project I started about 20 years ago so Superbike-Shaun let’s see where you are at.  I have to add a bunch of pieces to the roll cage and figure out the Watts rear linkage again.  I got some parts from a 69 Boss 302 diecast but it’s in storage and I cannot remember what it looks like but I found my picture I posted on another old thread so it’s time to get er done.
