mnwildpunk Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 oi! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewAMjOcEQ0k cricky I must be behind the times I had heard nothing of this movie until now
Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) The truck sorta looks like the dreadnaught from Death Race, heck even the trailer looks like a hokey movie, just from that I wont be wasting any of my money. but thanx anyway., and for the interceptor with last V-8, sure seems like they found a bunch for this, and their bringing back the Interceptor, almost as pristiene as it was before Max flipped it, an it exploded, and for it being rolled, they sure did a great job putting back together, without even a dent, thats the way it looks in the movie, here is a link to the resurected Interceptor, pics. bummer.... And yes I know they made more the one, but in fallowing the story line, personal opinion, this is gonna suc. http://www.madmax4-movie.com/news/364 Edited July 13, 2014 by Gothicz House Of Kustomz
Lownslow Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Fake trailer the driving scenes are a mix of Deathrace, Road Warrior, and Doomsday.
DeeCee Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 There were only ever 2 Mad Max movies, the rest were Hollywood JUNK!!
disabled modeler Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I really liked the first two movies even though there were some slow parts to them....the black interceptor car was awesome...I'd drive it.
Quick GMC Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 There were only ever 2 Mad Max movies, the rest were Hollywood JUNK!! From what I have read, they are trying to stick to actual stunts as much as they can and avoid the CGI. That alone should be worth the price of a movie ticket.
Rob Hall Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 It's going to be interesting to see...looks like it's a reboot, with Tom Hardy in the Max role. He was good in "The Dark Knight Rises", "Locke" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy"....
Rob Hall Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 What's CGI? Seriously? Computer Generated Imagery...if you've seen most any blockbuster movie of the last 35 years or so, you've seen CGI...
crazyjim Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I've seen movies but didn't recognize the initials. Sorry.
Jantrix Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 and for the interceptor with last V-8, sure seems like they found a bunch for this, and their bringing back the Interceptor, almost as pristine as it was before Max flipped it, an it exploded, and for it being rolled, they sure did a great job putting back together, without even a dent, that's the way it looks in the movie Are you looking for realism in a post-apocalyptic movie? Seriously? I've loved them all. I'm very glad George Miller is back at the helm on this one. They are going low-tech, stunt men, driving stunt vehicles. He describes this film as a 110 minute action sequence. I think its going to rock.

1930fordpickup Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 110 minute action sequence will get boring in about 20 minutes.
disabled modeler Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I have always wanted to build a first movie diorama.....shame there aren't more kits of the cars/trucks used in it
Longbox55 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 This one is not a sequel but is a reboot, so I wouldn't expect continuity from the original 3 films. Good to hear Miller is back. You're partially correct. It is considered a sequel of sorts to the original Mad Max, as the story takes place more or less right after the events of that film, but before the events of Road Warrior. On the other hand, it is also a reboot. One thing of note, Hugh Keays-Byrne (the Toecutter in the original) is going to be in it as "Immortion Joe".
mnwildpunk Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 No matter what being a fan of the first two I will enjoy or suffer through this one like I did mad max beyond thunderdome hopefully I enjoy it
Quick GMC Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 If this isn't cool enough, then I dunno what to tell you http://i.imgur.com/TJoRaMZ.jpg
blunc Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 will the Great Humungous release his dogs of war in this one?

JTalmage Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I'll just be glad if we get to see the Interceptor more than a combined total of 10mins before it gets blown to smithereens like in Road Warrior. Such an awesome car to only get a little bit of screen time in the first 2 movies.
