JustAnotherBuilder Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Well this is my first post on here hope you in joy =Star Dust= as much I do. I got TONS of projects yet this is my 2nd completed kit. I'm slowly learning fellas hang in there with me.......
Guest Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Very nice. I think the cloth/ carpeting is a little over scale, but very nice none the less. Engine and chassis pics?
JustAnotherBuilder Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 Thanks guys, Yes the felt is a little over scale but I had to bring life this old amt int some how. This was built as more of curb side not much detail to the undies, the hood is glued shut, there is a motor in it but mostly for an oil pan.
TooOld Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 (edited) Beautiful work Rhyon ! Love the colors and the "up" windows are neat ! Edited July 20, 2014 by TooOld
Maxicoop Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Awesome build ..... colors are great .... interior ...the only way you learn is by trying something ....... and it's your model and you can do what you want .... some will like it some won't ..... as long as you're happy and you're having fun, that's all that counts ..... keep building !!!
Harry P. Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 That's very cool. I especially like it with the top up. Not a fan of that "furry" interior, though...
1 bad55 stan Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Fantastic!Very cool neat paint and the stance is perfect...
PappyD340 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 OUTSTANDING model, you may be slowly learning but looks to me like your a very quick study!! Keep up the good work!!
Sixties Sam Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Very cool with the windows up! Great color, too! Nice work. Sam
om617 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Sweet Chevy. Love what you done for the side windows.
JustAnotherBuilder Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 Thanks for the comments everyone!! I have been messing with kits for a few years MAJOR projects but paint was my down fall to finishing any thing to my standard of where I wanted to be, well I think I got the bugs worked out of that!! I need to get away from spray bombs but there is just no way to use an airbrush where I'm at, SOMEDAY!!!!! As for the windows I put them in before ANY of the interior so I knew every thing would fit and no big gaps with the top up, let me tell you that was like building a ship in a bottle
