Wonderbread Kustomz Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Thanks. Stan... Got the hood painted, the rear panel and front panel and valance painted, thinkin these rims instead...
slusher Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 (edited) Looking great James. Look like the body is fresh off the track. How are you liking the kit..?. Edited July 25, 2014 by slusher
dragzz Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 vary good so far love the paint work u did there came out well
58 Impala Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 (edited) I bought that kit, found bigger wheels and tires. But have to do some cutting in the front wheel wells otherwise the tires sit too far back. Might just use the kit wheels and tires and do a OOB. Edited July 25, 2014 by 58 Impala
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Thanks guys... Carl, I actually haven't had any issues with the kit so far... Not a lot of flash like the tuner series had... My only complaint so far is Revell should have put this kit out with the option to have a stock interior, and being that it's the race version, I would have preferred stripped down inner door panels over stock door panels...
crazyjim Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I agree with the interior. Mine is going to be a street machine and a whole interior would have been nice. I don't care for the delicate parts that make up the front suspension. By the way, a small block Ford engine fits in real tight.
flo9mr Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 datsuns are just awesome! the weathering looks great!
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Thanks guys, had to go with the original rims I was planning due to the fact that they fit in the wheel well with no problem... Working on this slowly, got the rear suspension almost done and with the front suspension done, I'll glue it in once the body is glued, so for now a mockup with the suspension temporarily in place... I screwed up and forgot the exhaust gets fit in with the rear suspension , but I'll figure that out once I get to that point...
1 bad55 stan Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 It could do with a wash mate!Kidding it looks great.
