magicmustang
Hey, here' a AMT Chezoom funny car body I got years ago in trade. Wasn't interested in the rear engine version. So I altered the wheelbase on the body, stuck in a Chevy "Ratpacker" AWB chassis, modified the interior, added some Slixx decals and you have a Malcolm Durham 66' AWB Corvair funny car, "Strip Blazer IV". Let me know what you think. Edited January 18, 2015 by magicmustang

magicmustang
More photos. Had to alter the wheelbase on the body, scratch build the interior and change the rear assembly to coil springs verses leaf springs. Photo of real car from the internet. W-409
That's a very neat Corvair. Corvair body with Rat Packer chassis seems to work nicely and I have to agree, I prefer the front engine version. Very nice job.
