unclescott58 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Tell us more. What kit is it? Who made it. What paint did you use? You said it was an old, but nice kit. How old? What is nice? And being old, what is not nice? Tell us something. Scott
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 After I finish some of my other current projects I'll look into buying it

The wheels are beautiful, walnut decals for the dashboard, chrome 'transfers' for the coachline, mine wouldn't stick though if you find a new one it would be better. Paint is Vauxhall Sovereign gold (GM colour) cleared and polished. Thanks for looking in.

Old Jags like the Mk 2, are still beautiful cars. Scott
DynoMight Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Always liked the old Jaguars.. nice paint! looks shiny..
dino246gt Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Beautiful build of an un usual car, nice to see, thanks for sharing!
dublin boy Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 Old English movie, car chase 13 minutes long. Mark 2 jag and S-type jag Peter Yates did the Bullitt car chase after this one!
dublin boy Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 Sorry guys, you need to wind it on to 8 minutes for the Jags, it was the shortest clip I could find.
unclescott58 Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Old English movie, car chase 13 minutes long. Mark 2 jag and S-type jag Peter Yates did the Bullitt car chase after this one! Not bad. But no Bullitt. It would be fun to see the rest of the movie. Was "Robbery" it's name? I'm guessing the year was about 1966, '67, or '68? Scott
dublin boy Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 Yep, that was Robbery. 1967 Bullitt was much better, but he was hired because of that 2 jag chase.
HotRodaSaurus Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Lovely model This kit has some of the best spoked wheel mouldings of any I have seen on a kit like this. Finished mine in ivory with red rust coloured interior. Sadly I sold it.
