dublin boy Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Mostly out of box, just lowered as far as I could without major surgery. The intake manifold is a bit of a joke, but it's still a nice kit to build. BMW rattle can black, just polished out. Hope you like it guys.
1930fordpickup Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Now you made that vintage model come to life. Looks great.
DynoMight Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Looks sharp! I've never built a 32. I'll have to do one of those soon..
rmvw guy Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Nice model, I love the Black and Red on a '32. I always love the hubcaps and steel rims on these also. Nice job!
gwolf Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Nice and clean, man. Love the tan dashboard, goes very well with black body and red interior. Looks like very nice, quality tires and rims on this kit. I haven't built a new Monogram kit in years, but they always seemed to me to be the Cadillac of model kits; super detailed, quality plastic, parts fit nicely.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Great job on a much-maligned kit. Really one of the best builds of this one I've seen.
dublin boy Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 Great job on a much-maligned kit. Really one of the best builds of this one I've seen. Thanks guys. The only thing 'wrong' with the kit is the intake manifold, with the molded in carb and dizzy. I drilled out the distributor, added a big block Mustang carb and chrome intake from the parts box and wired it. It's a good kit as long as you lower it a bit
