Built just for some fun. The frame is metal rod soldered together. The handlebars are solder, the seat is leather, and the front wheel is a steering wheel from the parts box. The front tire is an "O" ring, while the rear tires are simply rubber washers. The fenders were made using sheet styrene and I used 1/2 round to peak them. Colour is Tamiya lemon yellow, and the flames are from a '32 Ford decal sheet. The streamers on the handle grips are yellow ignition wires.post-14132-0-79128900-1406383757_thumb.j

Sorry John. You must be thinking of someone else. I've never built a red Merc. Salmon...yes. Too many guys build such wonderful versions of the Merc, I did 1 and then ran and hid!
