wayne swayze Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Both models are 1/32 scale built a number of years ago. The Willys was in extremely bad shape when I received it. It was meant to be Stone, Woods and Cook I believe. I decided to make into a street rod. The trailer was my first attempt to scratchbuild one. The curtains in the trailer match the upholstery inside the car. They also share matching taillights and a split rear window. The paint was a mix of Testors enamels. Just another (tiny) blast from the past.
Maxicoop Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 that's a very sweet lookin' build ....... I'd drive it and have fun !!!!!
wayne swayze Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 A view of the interior. Guage bezels are aluminum tube...polished. Door inserts and seat inserts from an old kerchief. Aluminum tube for the column. Dash...body colour. The guages were hand painted (back when my eyesight was much better).
misterNNL Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Nice job!Novel idea of turning a kit intended to be built as a gasser into a driver and adding a trailer.
wayne swayze Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Thanks for looking. This is a rear 3/4 view.
