John Pol Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Does anybody have clear shoots Of Bill Jenkins 79 or 80 Camaro?
ZTony8 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 There's a book out that has all the Grump's cars in it.I don't know the title offhand and would have to lay my hands on my copy to get it (I'm writing this from work).Perhaps someone else here has readier access to it.
nitro norman Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 The book is called Grumpy's Toys. It's a great book with great pics. That would be your best bet.
magicmustang Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Here's a pic I found on the internet. Hope this helps. It says it is his 1979 Camaro. Gerald Edited May 17, 2015 by magicmustang

Mybe revell or should release a grumpy 79 camaro p/s but left with a choice I would do the vega or monza grumpy toy! My fav,
John Pol Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 I`m using the MPC 79 Z28 camaro and converting it into a straight camaro. And I have two of them
ChrisPflug Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 The 79-81 MPC Z28 has a solid roof and separate spoilers and can be found relatively inexpensively used- pretty much just need to smooth the fender vents for a stock Camaro body '79 annual is green and labeled "Street Savage", the '80 is the black "Super Z", and the '81 the blue "Turbo Z". The "Night Prowler" issue has lots of big flares and spoilers but these are all separate pieces so you can use the stock body and the "Camaro Pro Street" isn't really a pro streeter at all.
John Pol Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 Just want to know if he ran braided fuel lines or just rubber fuel lines
Force Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) I have the Grumpy's Toys book wich is a good and interesting read and I can recommend it to anyone with an interest in drag racing history. Jenkins used the same car both in 1979 and 1980, and after what I can see from the pictures in the book braided lines and AN fittings were used in the 1979 "Toy XV" Camaro. The "Toy XV" was replaced with the "Toy XVI" Camaro for the 1981 year, and that was replaced with the "Toy XVII" Generation 3 Camaro in 1983 wich was the last Pro Stock car Jenkins had, it was sold to Bob Panella after the season.
