Don't forget Hazel and Bewitched always had awesome stuff.

Ferrari 250 SWB California open headlight car either Hazel or Mr. Baxter won, 63 T-Bird Sports Roadster, other goodies.

I'd forgotten about the Humber. 1st one I'd seen, had to hunt down what it was.

Perry Mason-I remember the cars. Ray Milland played a bad guy and drove a nice Bentley Continental fastback IIRC. Perry had a Caddy IIRC.

Awesome scenes in Vonnegut's Saughterhouse 5. Haven't seen it in ages, but a must see, and a great book. http://www.imcdb.org/movie_69280-Slaughterhouse-Five.html

METV is one of my favorite channels. For quite awhile I only had a digital antenna hooked up to the TV. Now I have basic cable and METV is probably the most watched channel after the PBS channels.

I remember heading back to high school in 1972, pooling our funds together yielded something like $.47, which was enough to buy almost two gallons of 100 octane for my friends Sport Fury.

Ditto on this. I rarely watch TV beyond PBS and METV. I read even more than I watch TV. Plus, I'm too cheap to pay for cable or satellite. I bet I watch more things now on YouTube than I do TV also. But, reading is still number one for me.

I love watching The Rifleman.

The only western I've ever really liked. And I don't know why?

Do they still run "Honey West" ? She drove a Cobra.

Ah, Honey West, Anne Francis of Forbidden Planet fame. I have not seen Honey West since it was originally air back in the 60's. I remember liking the show. I didn't remember the Corbra. I'd look to see a episode or two of that show again. I wonder if it was really any good, like I remember?

I love me some westerns. I didnt as a kid, but as I got older I really began to love and appreciate them. Of course Sergio Leone's "Man with no name" westerns are among the best in my opinion. I wish there were a dozen more.

If you like The Rifleman, you should check out Steve McQueen's old series Wanted Dead or Alive. Great show.

Also check out HULU for some of the old shows. Click on the Classics icon when in the TV section.

YouTube has been a favorite for old shows also. I've been watching episodes of 77 Sunset Strip over the past month. I also listen to Old Time Radio shows on the net such as The Shadow, Sam Spade. Phillip Marlowe, Fibber McGee and Molly and so on.

Wanted Dead or Alive is a classic. I also try to catch Have Gun, Will Travel with Richard Boone and Bat Masterson with Gene Barry. There's also Lawman, Shotgun Slade and quite a few other 50's Westerns on YouTube that can be found.

Yeh, Jesse, I like everything I've ever seen with Steve McQueen. So I need to check out Wanted Dead or Alive. Great title for a show if nothing else.

And Frank, I've been a big old time radio fan for years. I have many, many episodes both on cassette tape and CDs. As far as HULU, isn't there a charge for that? If so, I'll stay with METV and YouTube for my old TV show fix. Like I said I'm a bit on the cheap side. There are other things I'd rather spend my money on.

I'll have to check those out. I had a $25 barnes and noble gift card from almost 10 years ago that I finally used like last year, and I learned about Steve McQueen's show... and it was $26 on Barnes and Noble... ordered that sucker and watched all the seasons for the next 6 months lol

There is a portion of HULU that is free. I'm the same way $ wise, one of my sayings is "If it's free its for me!!"

They keep changing around their homepage, you may have to search a bit to find the Classic TV Shows. They have several dozen that are free.

Sounds like it maybe a pain. I stick with I got. I'm happy with it.

Honey Wast was kind of corny, but I got a kick out of the re-runs. I saw the original Cobra used on the show at a Museum several years ago. I may build one like it.

Say Ron, and I don't know how to say this without looking like a jerk. But why do post a picture of that Pontiac with every one of your responses? We've seen it already. And we know your proud. You should be. But, please give it a rest.

Gees, I hope I'm not being too mean about that. But, it bugs me for some reason.

Fun watching Adam 12 today. I've been noticing a couple of back ground cars that show up on a regular basis. So far I've noticed three regulars. The one I've seen the most is a '68 or '69 (I'm leaning '69) gold Fairlane 2-door. I think early in the series that it was one of the two main characters private car. Another one is a '69 Mustang coupe. I'm pretty sure Millner's character drove that as a personal car for awhile. The third one is a blue Maverick, with a dark blue or black vinyl roof. It's gotten be be fun looking for those cars. In the first episode they showed today, both the Fairlane and Maverick were parked to front of the bank were Reed gets taken hostage. In the second one, the Maverick was seen parked across the street in a residential neighborhood from were they were making a call. Like I say, it's fun to see were and when one of those three Fords will show up.

The other thing I get a kick of on that show is the silver tape hiding the nameplates on the bad guys cars. Ever though in today's second episode they go chasing after a car that Reed report over the radio is "a light blue '71 Ford." When they catch the guy, the Ford letting on the back panel between the taillights are covered over with silver tape. Why? Since they already told us kind of car it was, are they worried about us reading the name on the back?

Just a guess here, but I assume the sponsors didn't want their brand associated visually with the "bad guys." Hearing "'71 Ford" is one thing, but seeing it is another. I can't think of any other reason why they would insist on blocking out the car name.

I always got a kick out of the back ground cars that appeared over and over. In one Steven Sagel movie there was a blue 1960 Buick that got passed in traffic several times in chase scenes. Later on he threw some bad guy out a window and it landed right on the roof of that very same Buick!

Or any of those old Quinn Martin shows where all the good guys drove brand new Fords... so when you saw bad guys driving an older off brand, you knew that car was going over the cliff.

Don't forget the green VW Beetle during the chase scene in Steve McQueen's movie Bullit. Fastest beetle in the world! McQueen's Mustang, and the Charger he's chasing, past that Beetle a couple of times. Man, it has to be fast! To keep on getting in front of them like that.

I wonder if the repeat cars belong to the crew on the show.

Could be. My family was once used as extras in a movie. Our Caravan was used in the parking lot scene. I guess it's any cars available for free!

The movie was being done for HBO and I don't think it ever aired. Still it was a fun experience.

Speaking of Perry Mason, what about Paul Drake's T Bird did we ever see Della Street's car, or 77 sunset strip cars

and Ironsides original truck
