It was a lot of fun yesterday looking for kits that were molded in orange. Anyone want to play again, this time with kits molded in green?

I'll list the ones I can think of. (No Jeeps or military vehicles, please--that's too obvious.)

Revell '70 Cuda AAR (first hideous issue)--close to SubLime.

AMT '66 Skylark, Craftsman issue--medium green.

Revell '51 Thames panel--metallic/pearlish green.

Monogram Callaway Corvette Speedster--metallic/pearlish green.

Monogram "Green Hornet" early '60s T altered--bright medium green.

I have a '69 or '70 JoHan Ford Maverick promo molded in Anti-Establish Mint.

I'm sure there are at least a few others....

mpc Camaro z28 street Savage medium green

Wow, never heard of that. What year Camaro is it?

And I thought of another one: I'm pretty sure I have a Lindberg '79 or '80 Mustang "Cobra" molded in a bright medium green.

Johan kits randomly (maybe just the re-issues?)

I have seen JoHan kits in about every color possible........I have a nice 73 Javelin kit in a odd dark green........

I Think John used whatever was CHEAP that week!

Round2/AMT 70 Camaro Baldwin Motion

VERY interesting! What general shade/color of green? I might be interested in tracking one of these down.

Monogram s first edition of the 1970 gtx is molded in lime lite green.

Interesting! I built that kit and painted it Plum Crazy but I don't remember what color the plastic was.

First time I read your post, for some reason I read "1971." I have a first edition of the Revell '71 GTX and it's yellow on the box (I don't know if I've ever opened that box or not) so I google-imaged it and found an issue where it's green on the box art. I wonder if that boxing was molded in green?

I could swear I've seen the Superbird in SubLime. A while back I was thinking my Superbird in the stack was Petty Blue so I dug it out and it wasn't. I think it's white, or off-white. I know my Sox & Martin version of that kit is an off-white or cream color.

It's a rather nice solid dark green. I guess Fathom Green was what they were aiming for. It's one of the "dual color" kits that Round2 offers in both white and a color. My personal copy is white, but the one we have at the shop is green. I cracked it open and snapped a quick pic. Make sure you get kit #855, that's the green one.

The original few runs of the Petty street/race Superbird were in a decent Petty blue. There was a banner on the box top saying so.....'Molded in Petty Blue'.

But I have had them in purple, orange, off white and red. Never a green one....but I'd never say it never happened!!!
