slusher Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Here's one from an obscure cult classic, which has been remade several times, and was itself a remake of a previous film: "Ya can't argue with a confident man." Assault on Precinct 13 thought it was remade once.
Snake45 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Assault on Precinct 13 thought it was remade once. Bingo! You are a true cinephile. Well done! It was remade under the same name in 2005. In 1996, Jim Wynorski did a nearly all-female version called The Assault. Last year's The Purge was an AP13 remake, too (see it if you don't believe me). And there are some who say that John Carpenter's own Ghosts of Mars was an AP13 remake, though it's been so long since I saw it I couldn't say. AP13 itself is of course a remake of Rio Bravo.
