Mr. Moparman
Paint came out nicely. Clear coat or just polished? That's just two coats of Testor's Wet Look Clear.

Mr. Moparman
Hey guys! I'm back and I have updates! The body has had decals applied and two more coats of clear applied. The engine is done. I painted the chassis. I may add some brake lines and such, but I would like some input on how to go about that, as I've never done it before. And I painted the interior pieces. I also flocked the floor pan. Enjoy! Edited October 14, 2014 by Mr. Moparman

slusher
You have done an excellent job on paint and clear on this build. Engine looks great. Did you paint the wood on the dash or is it a decal??

Mr. Moparman
Guess who's back, back, back, back again... Let's just jump straight into the the pictures... The body had been further detailed. I went with BMF on this one, turns out it was a little bit of a challenge. The trim is not very defined on the body, so you have to go slow and use very little pressure on your knife. I glued the taillights and glass in, and we'll just leave the story on how the front windshield ended up in a white haze a mystery. I've applied to Revell for a new one though. I completed the interior and got it all put together. I have to give credit, I love how this interior builds up. Everything locks together, and I did not have to use one piece of tape to hold things up while the glue dried. I detailed up the Rallye rims in their appropriate shades of silvers and metalizers. And finally, I seated the HEMI in it's final home. Enjoy!
426-Hemi
Updates! Get your updates here! I wired and plumbed the engine today. I still have to build the fan belt/pulley assembly and mount it to the block, and attach the exhaust manifolds but that will be done all in good time. As with my previous builds, I painted the carbs a more appropriate shade of aluminum and then added a black wash. Used, but not abused. Got the Shaker and air cleaner painted today, also I sprayed the exhaust manifolds too. They look silver on camera, but in person it's more of a gunmetal color. I also painted the body and hood. I am in love with this Ice Blue. In my opinion, it's come the closest than anything else to B5 Blue that I can go buy on a store shelf. Shiny! And some food for thought.... First one to guess it gets a cookie. Enjoy! Charger 500? a '69 I believe.....
DynoMight
That color fits the car really well. It'll all come together to make one kickin' Cuda!
microwheel
Your cuda is really looking good. I'm one of the people who think Revell hit a home run with this kit. There may be a few little issues with the kit itself, but nothing that took away from the fun of building it.
