Snake45 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Testors Pantera built straight from the box. Didn't even paint it, since the black plastic was pretty “solid,” but I did spend many hours polishing the plastic. Trim painted with Testor Black Chrome Trim for some contrast. Most of the color on this one is on the inside so a few interior shots to start with. As always, thanks for looking and comments are welcome. ________________________________________
vamach1 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Very similar to one I built. http://public.fotki.com/vamach1/mustang-model-cars/100-0084.html
The70judgeman Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I have the same kit in my stash. Always had a soft spot for Pantera's since I saw two for sale(1 red, 1 yellow) across the street from my first job in '88. It's too bad there isn't a whole lot of detail to it. Looks great though! The only thing I'd change if I build mine is the tires.
1930fordpickup Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I like it . I have a couple of these and was wondering about polishing the plastic.
Maxicoop Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 that's one sweet lookin' build !!!!! super job !!!!
Snake45 Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Thanks for the kind comments, everyone! This stupid model was about 20 years in the making (counting a loooooong sentence on the Shelf of Doom). It wasn't easy to polish, and it wasn't easy to photograph.
