The timing is off - This would make for a great December holiday gift.

I will be looking for it though.

I love those old kits like that "Red Baron" ,"Rommels Rod"

always wanted a "Lil Coffin" but never have gotten one.

Scott went to a good deal of depth on this book project, from what I understand. I am personally really looking forward to reading it...>TIM

I found this book on Amazon a short time back and will be ordering it after Christmas when it becomes available.. I enjoy the history of model kits and model companies almost as much as building models.

Picked up the history of ESCI by JC Carbonel about a month ago, yes I know pretty much all military. I really wish someone who has access to the resources would write a history of AMT & MPC, I think that would be an interesting read.

I know a fellow modeler who'll like this book.Me-not so much.It's the one subject of model cars that just doesn't hold much interest for me.Yes,I do have a couple of these type kits but if I trade or sell them off I won't be too sad.
