Old Buckaroo Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) The timing is off - This would make for a great December holiday gift. I will be looking for it though. I love those old kits like that "Red Baron" ,"Rommels Rod" always wanted a "Lil Coffin" but never have gotten one. Edited November 3, 2014 by Old Buckaroo
Jon Haigwood Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 And where would a person go to buy one ?
tim boyd Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Scott went to a good deal of depth on this book project, from what I understand. I am personally really looking forward to reading it...>TIM
robertw Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I found this book on Amazon a short time back and will be ordering it after Christmas when it becomes available.. I enjoy the history of model kits and model companies almost as much as building models. Picked up the history of ESCI by JC Carbonel about a month ago, yes I know pretty much all military. I really wish someone who has access to the resources would write a history of AMT & MPC, I think that would be an interesting read. rob
ZTony8 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I know a fellow modeler who'll like this book.Me-not so much. It's the one subject of model cars that just doesn't hold much interest for me.Yes,I do have a couple of these type kits but if I trade or sell them off I won't be too sad.
