That looks really good JC. I like the muted white you used, is that Tamiya racing white? Keep up the great work!

Thanks Gene. No the engine bay is Tamiya Pure White. The underside of the chassis is Tamiya white primer. My camera is struggling with all the black on this build. I keep having to crank up the brightness on the pictures to show the details. That might be why the paint looks a bit muted.

Heya JC! Man you sure do know how to make an engine do everything but run!!! That thing is spot on!

Thanks Joe. The engine is my favorite part of the build. Lots of the plumbing and wiring still needs to be installed but it's getting there.

It can be hard to capture with a camera what your eyes see,my photos tend to become awful lol. It looks fantastic so far.

The engine could been on display all on it`s own.

Thanks Tommy. It definitely looks better in person than it does in the photos.

Just an idea but have you thought about a mild wash on that alternator to help bring the detail out a little?

I did a wash on the engine block but decided not to on the alternator. Man I wish I knew what kit that alternator came from (found it in a bunch or parts) I would love to have a few more.

Thanks Wayne. No doubt this one will see the finish line.

Wow.. The level of detail here is stunning.

Thanks Andy. I'm keeping an eye on several of your WIPs.

JC this thing is sweet. Escorts rock, the Mk.I coming is a long hoped for car. Went looking for my Mk.2, but must have sold it. Need another, won't do it justice like you are though.

Wow JC, that's incredible, and , it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo clean. Are you going to enter this in a contest?

Thanks Gene. I don't build to compete, I build for pleasure and to learn more about the subject matter. However I have entered exactly one model contest in my career. It was an one-line contest on another modeling forum - finished in last place out of +20 models.
