508boricua Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Hey guy's. This is a really old kit from Testors/Fujimi . All I did was add some SSR mesh wheels from the Eightyone81 catalog, and lowered it. Quick and fun build, hope you guy's like it.
model-collector Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Totally dig it, it looks really good, awesome job!
peter31a Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Sweet little MR2! Nice clean build. Kudos!
Erik Smith Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 That is a cool looking model. Great paint. I think "really old" is relative though... Excellent work.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I don't agree on the wheels looking like they do, but otherwise it's a very agreeable looking little MR2.
Kennyboy Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I think I have this kit in the stash Delfin........is this the one that is molded in yellow? You did a GREAT job on yours!
Intmd8r Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Nice build. You don’t see enough of these, real ones or in scale form.
robertw Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Interesting build of a seldom seen kit. I just finished the same kit last month but built mine as the 1989 Special Edition. The year before I'd built the Fujimi kit of the 3rd generation MR-2 so wanted a companion kit. rob w

Thanks Ken. This kit was sold as a Testors/Fujimi kit and came in a Testors box. It's silver on the box art. Thanks again.
jbwelda Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 excellent and that paint looks fantastic! I built a next gen of the MR2, but Ive also wanted to build this kit as well. I think the wheels look real up to date. great looks overall! jb
