freakshow12 Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Thanks guys. Looks like a half day at work tmo so I should have some good updates. Thanks for watching for nearly a year! Lol
freakshow12 Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 Had some time today so I got the big parts of the interior done. Dash is pretty well finished. I may add a monster tach/ shift light and a couple other gauges for the monster under the hood. Get some pedals in it and I got a nice inline 4 speed shifter as well. Thanks for looking
jsc Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Awesome dash and color combo!! Love the white seats
freakshow12 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 Well guys,as I have a little time I'm trying to get this year long build in the books. I added a tach, inline shifter and a shift light and now the interior is done. Thanks for looking
RandyEarle Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I have a couple Dusters sitting on the shelf. hmmmmmmmmm.... Great job so far, excellent!
BigEdsGarage Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Great job on this Duster!! I like where this is going. What's the plan for the hood?
freakshow12 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Got some more done today. Hemi is in for last time. Got the dipstick on, decal on oil filter and made rad hoses. Front suspension is in just the coilovers left there. Getting very close to mating body to chassis for last time then it will really take shape. The hood is a black six pack unit btw. Thanks for looking
mustang1989 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 What's up with that tach?? That thing looks practically real!!! I see the backing looks like a decal. What did you make the needle pointer out of? Motor looks superb! Where'd you get the oil filter decal at?
Yo Jutt Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 This is one awesome car! Everything looks great!
freakshow12 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Thanks guys. The tach is an old detail master piece if I remember right. The housing is aluminum, the face is a plastic overlay and the needles and mounting clamp are photoetch. Took a while to build. Lol. I've had it for a long time. The oil filter decal is from the custom decals on the new hemi cuda kit. If I get the firewall done tmo the big parts should be together tmo. I just could not resist a quick look though. Here you go. Hood isn't done yet
426-Hemi Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Done for now. Trans will be painted last and fuel lines to go on I got to ask, whered the valve covers on the Hemi come from? Those look REALLY good "finned"!!!!! Nice work on the engine too! GAWD that dash and gauage, as well as the body exterior the whole build looks GREAT!!!!!!!
