Daddyfink Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) Finished the Camaro last night, used some Slixx decals and some parts box wheels and tires. Added some ladders bars from the Revell Torino kit. Otherwise, box stock For as much bad as it caught, it came out looking like a Camaro. Will definetly build one again. And the Sox & Martin Cuda, already posted it before, but I like the way it came out, so here it is again! Edited December 17, 2014 by Daddyfink
vintagedragcrazy Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 nice builds jesse they both look nice and clean i had the same thought for the camaro and i did do the cuda it builds up real nice out of the box. vince
hedotwo Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I just finished the Glidden T-Bird last night and have been trying to decide what to start next. Seeing as how I have the Camaro kit AND the Slixx Grump decals I think I've made my decision after looking at your build. Nice job!
Daddyfink Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Thanks fellas! It was a quick and fun build. Next one will be the RS version with the hideaway headlights
1 bad55 stan Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 They both look great, but we need more photos Please!
Tye Brown Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Cool Bananas man, great builds.. What kit did ya use for the Camaro man?
Snake45 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Nice job on GTIII, and very skillful photography of it as well.
Snake45 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Next one will be the RS version with the hideaway headlights Good choice. Plug in the Modelhaus repop of the original annual AMT '67 SS/RS grille and the problems at the front end of the car go away.
Speedfreak Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Nice job Jesse, I really like the Camaro, it looks great in white.
Dan Helferich Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Great work as usual Jesse! The Grump and Ronnie Sox, what a great time that was for drag racing.
JTalmage Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Can't wait to get around to doing my idea for the '67 Camaro! Looks great!
BirdWatcher Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Yeah...What Vince said. Super clean Jesse, nice work there.
booboo60 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 You Mean, you think he should order a new resin grill for this model hause because the box grill don't have the little chrome strip over the parking lights?? Looks nice Both, I would work at getting the front wheel on the ground!! that drives me nuts at least with my builds? some warping will cause this, but either the front is not seated right, or you maybe able to adjust the rear end and get it down, maybe the right rear axle, I find the opposite corner is the guilty part,,Just my thought, Nice clean builds
Daddyfink Posted February 25, 2015 Author Posted February 25, 2015 Thanks, the Camaro is sitting on a thick piece of glass. All wheels touch the ground.
