guybrush Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 hello jim that van is great craftsmanship... well done i like it greetings maik
Nacho Z Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I really like the van but when I saw the picture of the van and boat, well, that sealed the deal! Very cool paint job too.
Daddyfink Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Dude! Did you find some of my old school homework where I used to draw stuff like this all the time!? This is awesome!!
crazyjim Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 Thanks Jesse. Didn't find your homework - had some extras left over after I shortened another Phantom van.
JJER Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Hey Crazy Man. I want to try a custom van. Any recommendations as to which van kit has the most detailed undercarriage ? Thanks. JR ps. Loved the Oct. fast contest.
crazyjim Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 I wish I could help you, Jim. The Phantom van is the only one I've built and the suspension was nothing spectacular. Just typical kit stuff. Hopefully you have March 21 marked on your calender. FAST will be putting on the model contest at the Billetproof show. Location is the Big Daddy Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing.
geetee66 Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Wow! What a fantastic build! Very well thought out and executed. The speedboat looks really good with it.
crazyjim Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Thank you guys. I hope it does well at JaxCon next Saturday.
darthsideous Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Really nice van and the matching boat, awesome!
crazyjim Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Thanks Al. The boat took 1st place in the power boat, civilian class at the recent JaxCon show.
Krazy Rick Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 If the van is rockin' - don't come knockin' !!!! - nice job Jim
Model Brain Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Personally i think this is one of the more - less attractive vans out there, But you sir made it into a beautiful work of art! Great job
