Sixties Sam Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Amazing work as always, Harry! Great finish and details! Sam
JTalmage Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Beautiful. 30-31 are my favorite years. Nicely done
Mr.Zombie Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Great as is, cream wheels would make it a toycar. This is real right there.
peekay Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 An outstanding job on a very difficult kit (I gave up on mine!) And, as already said, so great to see a stock Model A. Beautiful!
Harry P. Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 Thanks to an alert member for reminding me that I forgot to add the gas cap! That will be fixed...
Danno Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Excellent execution, Harry. I have a bunch of the MiniCraft 1/16 A's and have not yet worked up the courage to tackle them, due to their reputation for fiddly-ness. So, I respect your effort! You're right, cream wheels would look better, and they would also be more authentic. Body color was not common for Model A wheels, unless it (the body) was black (or red).
BubbaJoe Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 This is just BEAUTIFUL.....your work is outstanding.
sjordan2 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Definitely one of your best. When did you build it? Did you throw the 540k against the wall?
High octane Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Great job on that build Harry, I'm likin' it!
Harry P. Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Definitely one of your best. When did you build it? Did you throw the 540k against the wall? I built it last week.
sjordan2 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I keep coming back to look at this one. Besides a shipload of patience, what was your technique for opening the hood louvers?
Harry P. Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 I keep coming back to look at this one. Besides a shipload of patience, what was your technique for opening the hood louvers? They were molded open, all I had to do is clean up some flash.
JTRACING Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Great looking car! Awesome attention to details on is build!
FordRodnKustom Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Exquisite build. Great to see one of these built factory stock. Good job!
TooOld Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Beautifully done Harry ! I've been searching for a real one for a few years now . Came close once , missed it by one day !
