Cobbled up a pair of headers out of some parts bin finds. they look pretty good but should exit to the side otherwise it'll be a long run to the turbos.

Completed the exhaust pipes. Added the tips, water lines and transaxle cooling lines. Touched a few things up. It sorta looks like the picture. Next, I have to build the stand and we're done.

Block with wings ... beautiful, including that underside!

Thanks Mike. It does look like it has wings doesn't it. I bet that once you drop into the seat of a 956 and let her rip, it FEELS like it has wings too!.

I've been buying piles of engines and parts for this. In there were this block and head. Painted them up and drilled out the exhaust ports in the head. Placed it on the shelf.

Made a couple more engine stands and found the three wheeler in the bag of engine parts.

Added another sign above the door.

Used some square tubing and made the supports on the body dolly adjustable.

fantastic work, where are you getting the little wheels for these parts? Are you scratching them or kit bashing?

Found the tongue jack on the shop trailer a bit wonky.

Took a 6/32 screw and turned one end to accept the foot and the other to accept the handle. Threaded a brass insert and voilà, we have a functional jack.

FTB just completed a Ford SHO for a customer.

Ahh... that looks good. I'm putting a SHO in a '32 and this engine is where I was having troubles, totally my fault for trying to detail too much! I made those tiny spark plug square ends and attached the wires into the sides but they keep detaching and can't get them glued back in. It looks like you painted a black square and drilled the wires in.

Maybe I should step back from below ..

That is exactly what I did.

FTB has changed the display trio to two OHC engines which were developed for NASCAR and one to compete in the muscle car market but neither of them  made it as intended.

Time to do another machine. Actually two who go together: a rod honing machine and a rod and cap grinder. Went to the shop for photos, sketches and measurements.
