The Latham blower on a 430 Lincoln. The Potvin blower on an early Hemi. Ardun heads on a Ford V8. landman
Went and pestered Leo again. Here's the gentleman who allows me to wander around his shop armed with camera, tape measure pad & pencil. I couldn't reproduce all those machines if it weren't for him. landman
As a "while the paint dries " project I started making a V12 out of two Mickey Thompson Pontiac 389's. Cut the blocks and heads of two engines and put them back together in a V12 configuration. Valve covers are scratchbuilt as is the valley cover. Scratchbuilt some vent caps and installed drinking straw cylinder bores. I managed to drill through a couple of valves. The water pump is from a junk engine and is mated to the bottom part of the Mickey Thompson front cover. I'm not sure what I will do with this engine yet. If It goes on display in the engine shop, I'll remove the head locating tabs, smooth the decks and add bolts holes, water passages etc. at least to one side and possibly show it with one side open. Then I might complete it and put it in the engine collection or stick it into something. Edited November 25, 2020 by landman
