This was the Ertl Snap Kit. Body mods- removed running boards, re-shaped fenders, added fender to hood header pipes, scratch-built tail lights and tail pipes, parts box wheels and tires, modified 1937 Ford Sedan interior, scratch-built tinted windows, retractable hood scoop with element. Refinished in BASF lacquers, clear coated in DuPont urethane clear.

hello there friend! I will let the model speak for itself and just say WOW :rolleyes: !!! The entire build is an eye catcher! Excellent model! I have never seen this before would you happen to have wip pics .Thank you for sharing"Keep on wit the keepin on !!!! O' the first pic is my favorite

I love the scoop, is it manual or to you have a small battery and motor to move it.

The scoop operates by a cam and lever system attached to the front axel shaft. Push the car forward scoop lifts up, pull back and it retracts. Quite simple but effective.
