Now I have chopped the top 3 inches in front and 4 inches in the rear. I also removed side trim and door handles and set it up for 49 Caddy rear bumper for the rear. I rounded the corners on the hood and also pancaked the hood.

When you do a radical top chop like this, where do you come by the rear window and windshield? Do you make them yourself or trim the existing one down to size? I have never had luck with either process.

If I can I try and cut down the kit windows. If the window doesn't have to much curvature I use clear sheet plastic

I love a classic custom. This has a lot of the right mix of some the classic modifications including the pancaked hood and tunneled antenna. This will be fun to watch as it progresses. Thanks for posting your photos for us to enjoy.
