Petetrucker07 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, etc. Dwieber and his sister
Snake45 Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 In this day and age, Tony Bennett is a freak He's not a freak, he's very talented and God bless him, he's still getting it done at, what, 130, 140 now? His music just isn't for me.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Times like these I wish Dean Martin was still around.
Draggon Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Times like these I wish Dean Martin was still around. Now youre talking!
Snake45 Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Times like these I wish Dean Martin was still around. He still has dozens of CDs available. If that's what you want, you can discover "new" Dean Martin music for years to come.

Snake45 Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 That's a thought. I just listened to about an hour of Dino while I was playing Minecraft. You could go over to my parents' house and listen to all that ancient stuff you could stand. I grew up on it, and was thoroughly tired of it long before I started shaving.
Erik Smith Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Yeah, because grown men who try to create alternate miniature realities aren't freaks at all...
slusher Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Times like these I wish Dean Martin was still around. Now youre talking! Dean Martin was a great singer. I remember those Roasts and he put apple juice in his glass on his tv show. He didn't drink as much as people thought. I watch parts of his TV show on you tube,,
slusher Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Yeah, because grown men who try to create alternate miniature realities aren't freaks at all... I really should not say their freaks but I really don't get or care for the strange behavior of lady Ga GA at all and many others...
Greg Myers Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I like the "one" name wonders. Usher ? really ? Why not janitor, or doorman ? Don't get me started on all the made up names. One must Wonder ?
Snake45 Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 I really should not say their freaks but I really don't get or care for the strange behavior of lady Ga GA at all and many others... Gaga is trodding a well-beaten path pioneered by Little Richard, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Elton John, Cher, Bette Midler, Madonna, et al. In other words, she is an entertainer. And IMHO, a pretty darned good one, too.
Snake45 Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 I like the "one" name wonders. Usher ? really ? Why not janitor, or doorman ? Don't get me started on all the made up names. One must Wonder ? Usher is his given name, and was his father's name. He's actually Usher Terry Raymond IV. And he's actually pretty talented, too. And from what I saw of him on The Voice, seems to be a nice guy.
Petetrucker07 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I agree, they are very talented yet outrageous for whatever their reasons are, attention, oddity, just to be different, whatever. That still dont take away from the fact they are talented, just not everyones cup of tea, certainly not mine.
slusher Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Gaga is trodding a well-beaten path pioneered by Little Richard, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Elton John, Cher, Bette Midler, Madonna, et al. In other words, she is an entertainer. And IMHO, a pretty darned good one, too. Gaga is a long distant cousin to Madonna. I can't put her and Elvis in the same sentence but your right on with the rest friend. Good point..
Draggon Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I liked Sammy Davis, Jr too. Like Sinatra's talent, but not the man.
Harry P. Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I like the "one" name wonders. Usher ? really ? Why not janitor, or doorman ? Don't get me started on all the made up names. One must Wonder ? Actually a lot of the "one name" entertainers are using their real names. Usher, Prince, Madonna, Beyonce, Cher, Sia, Rihanna, Adele, Kesha, Bjork, Donovan... all their real (first) names. Ok... Rihanna is her real middle name...
Agent G Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 They were all good, real good. A co worker is the great nephew of Dean Martin. Martin was arguably the better singer and quite a performer, but voluntarily took a back seat to Sinatra. He had a carefully crafted on stage persona which was nothing like him in real life. G
Lucas van H Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 I thought I saw that monobrow before, and I was right apparently...
