Kennyboy Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) This has been a side project of mine....always wanted to combine the Boyd Smoothster front end with the 39 Wagon Rod. That is just what this is........cut the Wagon Rod at the front of the doors and worked in the Smoothster front end. I like how the chrome matches up with the Woodgrain panels on the side (just like I hoped they would!) Color is HOK Majik Blue on the top with a Kandy Purple over it and the lower level is HOK Molly orange with HOK Goldmine Pearl over it. Did the body first on this project (which is odd for me......who knows could be a new trend!) Pics from the booth: Edited January 23, 2015 by Kennyboy
cobraman Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I'm color blind ( partly ) but those colors look great together !
Kennyboy Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Thank you guys! I chose the orange(y) pearl because I thought it would work great with the later woodgrain.....the blue....well I had to use it up!
Custom Mike Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 As good as the body looks, I'm thinking you should do all of your body work first from now on, that's beautiful! Great color combo too, this is gonna look great when the wood grain is done!
DumpyDan Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Nice color, now put them together and get your camera back out, I need to see it.
