Yeah...but they get out of the way. :)

You just have to be a little patient, just like running this stretch of road for real. It's fairly close to me, in NC, with 318 curves in 11 miles. Tons of fun if you get there during off-peak times. It's also stupid to push it too hard, as there are other people around, and the occasional totally clueless Lexus or Winnebago driver who pulls in front of you without looking.

Being as I love Cobra's I watched the whole thing. Who needs a radio when you can listen to that?

I wish I could have ridden that road when I had my Honda Interceptor. On second thought I would probably be dead now if I had. I think he may have been putting pressure on those bikers which I didn't think was good but that is just my opinion and my opinions are normally no good, just ask my wife ! : ) Thanks Bill, I enjoyed that !

One day I was driving my 2002 Mustang GT down a road that has twists and turn with hills. Not anything like this but a fun ( or I thought it would be ) drive. It was the same day as a few farmers decided to travel that road with a wagon full of straw or two behind them. Get past them to come up to a Bicycle rally of some sort. There were 100's of them all spaced out for miles. OH Well . Fun drive but most was under 25 MPH. LOL

Man, it would be nice to build one of those Factory Fives, wouldn't it?

Speed doesn't always matter when you're in a car you love.

Cool. I actually like the sound of any well tuned engine. Watching vintage racing is fun when you get a mustang, Lotus, and a V12 Jaguar in line...

Wife and I were just up there back in Oct. to see the leaves changing. Great video, we saw a man in a Lotus super 7 at a rest stop, it sounded great when he left.

Ditto, and bookmarked for future replay. Nice of the van and two pickups to clear out of the way. I always do that at the first opportunity when something like that comes up behind me, and it is refreshing when random slow folks realize my old hotrod hatchback has a little more zip than them. Man, how I'd love to have that level of torque, tires and brakes under me....

Yup, nuthin' like a V8. That guy was really tip-toeing through the curves, though. I would have liked to have seen him making more use of the gears, torque and brakes that he had at his disposal. Bang it down to third (or second), trail-brake going in, and then lay it on at the apex. Maybe hang the tail out a little bit coming out. Catch my "drift?" Sorry.

But yeah, that kind of driving would be a bit aggressive on that road at that time of day.

Thank you for sharing. I have never gotten to visit this road, but have seen it featured on TV programs. They always point out the 35 MPH speed laws. One thing I noticed about the driver is he kept the car in the middle of his lane even in the corners, good driving. All of the cars he overtook were unable to stay in their lane even at slower (35 MPH ?) speeds. To their credit they did use the turnout to let the Cobra by. I never thought the Cobra pressured any of the other drivers, he let them know he was there, but kept back a safe distance. What a great 19 min.
