crazyrichard
thnx guys !! and yes i'd love it in 1:1 myself .... and @ jonathan it cool here these pics are on the bench where its really dark brown .. when outside with different light it turns more orange its like a rust flipflop hahahaha just made a fuelline to the carb and a throttle linkage on the other side .. .. crazyrichard
added a inner cable , so the rod is a hollow rod where the cable runs trhough , pin on the side ... maybe not 100% realistic .. hard to make a real linkage .. i think one day ik will try to make something out of thin brass plate ... wayne swayze
Looks tres cool in the different light! You're adding some nice detail also. I'm a big fan of stretched wheelbase rods, so this model is quite tasty!
crazyrichard
thnx wayne !! added 2 coolant hoses , used brass fittings (old ends from guitar strings) and bend rods that where painted matte , i will add some clamps tomorrow and the pic is lousy in this evening light makes it all look more rough , i will shoot some daylight pics tomorrow

crazyrichard
thnx eric !!! today i glued the headlights in place !! they are actually from a large scale car its either 1/16 or 1/18 .. i believe 1/18 because of the axle i have that go's with it .. should come from a die-cast ford .... i got some of those parts from a guy so thats why i'm not a 100% sure .. now on the rod they have those perfect bullet shaped housings and are nice oversized like you sometimes see on ratrods .... they are just rough ... the supports under the lights need some paint and the housing will get a threathment so just glued on not done yet oh and the pics are crappy evening light pics the size of the head lights , balances the front with the hudge rear wheels and proportion wise its just what it needed Edited March 19, 2015 by crazyrichard
